Mahmoud Darwish

House of Wisdom proudly presents “The Dice Player: Mahmoud Darwish”, an exhibition honouring the legendary Palestinian poet — his legacy, his language, and his eternal call for freedom.

“I am the dice player… I win sometimes, I lose sometimes,” Darwish once wrote, revealing a humanity cast across six faces: the son, the poet, the exiled, the unlucky lover, the activist, and the absent presence.
