Join us on a journey across land, sea, and time as we explore the works of famed travellers, geographers, and cartographers of the Islamic Golden Age. As we navigate through the pages of detailed manuscripts and elaborate Islamic maps, we explore how Muslim travellers, such as Ibn Battuta and Ibn Majid, meticulously recorded their journeys, creating detailed works that became essential references of cultures for centuries. Their systematic approaches to documenting geography, culture, and society laid the foundation for future cartographers and travel writers. Navigate through this exhibition to trace how these early narratives continue to inspire contemporary geographic exploration, cartography, and modern digital storytelling.
